BOY SCOUT TROOP 192
PARENT MEETING MINUTES
JANUARY 14, 2014
The troop will be participating in the KLONDIKE DERBY at Yards Creek on January 24-26th. To date, nine scouts and four adults are
attending. Plans are to leave between
4-4:30 pm on Friday from LVPC and return Sunday. Scouts will visit various
stations (first
aid, ice/water rescue, map & compass, pioneering, etc.) as well as compete
in the sled race.
Nate Henderson is looking into a TROOP/FAMILY
SKI TRIP at Shawnee Mountain for either February 1st or 8th. Please respond to Nate’ s January 13th email to let him know
if you
are attending and which date works best for you/your family.
Our troop will be serving at the March 2nd CALIFON FIREMEN’S BREAKFAST. Look for a future email from Karen
Becker regarding sign up times.
The MATTAMEECHEN MERIT
BADGE FAIR (previously
scheduled for March 22-23rd) has been canceled due to the closing of
the Central New Jersey Council. There
was talk of trying to get the boys to work on certain badges at future scout
meetings.
The SPRING FOOD DRIVE
will be
held April 26th (bag drop off) and May 3-4th (bag pick
up). Sorting and drop off of items will
be held on Sunday, May 4th.
Jessica Beard will be coordinating for the Cubs and Lynne Parente for
the Boy Scouts. Thanks, ladies!
Our troop will attend OCKANICKON
SUMMER CAMP from June 22-28th.
The early bird rates will be due by the end
of February, so look for an email from Ben Tuttle with fees and due dates.

THE DATE: Our SPRING COURT OF
HONOR will be held on Thursday, May 1st at LVPC at 7:00
pm. Details to follow.
NOTE: Due to the closing of the Central New Jersey
Council, it was recently announced that we are now a part of the Bucks County
Council and Hunterdon Arrowhead District.
THE NEXT PARENT MEETING WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY,
FEBRUARY 11TH
AT LVPC AT 7:30 PM.
